Heavy boxes and broken elevators
Yesterday (10/14/15), I went to work before I headed off to school. My job is on the second floor at a strip mall, smallish card/board game shop. I got in with my coworker and we did our separate jobs before the boss came in. The boss eventually comes in before I have to head off for school and the UPS man shows up as well with ~15 boxes of stuff. No elevator means no way up but the stairs right? So I'm volunteered to help the UPS man get all these boxes up the stairs and to the office. I took a couple at a time until my third trip, where I took 3. This was the big mistake.
I got to the top of the steps and went inside and my legs told me no more. So to my knees I fell. Tried to get up, got about halfway up and then my legs told me no. So I set the boxes down and moved them one by one. I didn't notice any problems (aside from my legs being sore).
Fast forward to later yesterday, walking around downtown at school and I notice my back is starting to hurt. Oh joy. It's continued to this morning, but I have pain meds that I'm taking. Here's to hoping I didn't screw my back up!
