Hello,

With the last update the James Hardiman Book was almost ready for final review as his family had completed the long process of going through the hundreds and hundreds of pages of his work to file them down in to the book. Also his artist friends had submitted tribute art to this work for the Kickstarter backers. The Book was originally intended to be a collection, but with Jim gone it has become a tribute to his legacy.

We where in the middle of getting the last of the pages for the Hardiman Skunkworks book to be reviewed by his family, as well as shipping the Skunkworks Bedsheets when unfortunately my own set of personal issues came up.

For those of you who follow me on my own sites you know that my mother has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer. I didn't want to add yet another tragic delay to this kickstarter so as with before.

I was silent when issues happened to Max's health which delayed his posters. However he's now hes been able to get to working on them. The Artica and Scarlet files are in my hands and are off to the printers and soon will be out to the backers whom ordered them. When the Irina and Valkyrie posters are completed they will be sent out as well.


When Akasaka, the Japanese artist whom created "Rachel" ( http://bbh.marpirc.net/racheal1.gif )for Konami's Martial Champian, and worked on the "Blue Gender"Manga and Anime, had informed me he had to delay working on the Irina the Cold warrior, and Rachel projects, due to the sickness, and eventual passing of his father, I too kept that silent as that was personal information at the time. He is very committed to you his American fans and appreciates your support.

I was silent when we where unsure about Jim's health as requested by him and his family, until it was clear he wouldn't make it and then spoke out after he had passed. Since Jim's projects for this kickstater was in fact the largest funded part (even larger than the figures) his sickness and passing has delayed other projects tied to that funding. As such Refunds where offered to his fans and most of you have stated they would still be willing to wait on the production of his book and sheets, and would love to have one of his original works when the time comes in place of the commissions. For those fans that have been and continue to wait, I and James' family thank you.


And now just as things was starting to get settled and back into production another setback has occurred. I was trying to keep quiet as you the supporters don't need to know every private issue that happens to the staff members of AVP. As with the business and the internet, any issue can cause worry, or people believing of made excuses, and yet unfortunately another round of delays have happened due to another medical issue, this time close to home with my mother fighting pancreatic cancer. I assure you these delays where never intended and also something that is hard to plan for in business:

In the past, I have offered refunds to those whom requested it and very much happy to do so as the whole reason I started Angry Viking Press, and this kickstarter was to help creative people get their works out to their fans, If you feel I am failing in that endeavor I understand and will be willing to refund if you have yet to receive your product.

In this kickstarter We had planed for all sorts of production delays except we didn't expect catastrophic health issues to strike many members of our team and or their family members, nor did we expect major flooding to delay the production of our action figures.

Once James' book is finally approved that will free up the last bit of stored funds for the reaming books. DragonLast its self is ready for final translation and then printing, Extinctioners Origins #3 and ArcticBlue are in color stages of production
, With Andorozon: Origins and Andorozon: Pandoras Box in production as well and planing for the cameo's in the books:


The Toy Factory has recovered from the floods in China and they have been moving on production as I've been informed, and the 2013-2014 preview book (now 2015-2016 preview book) is gearing up with Sengoku Valkyrie, Evil Diva, and Vixanna: A Runaways Chronicle.


As stated in a prior update, this kickstarter had a fast start as everything was falling in line with our plans and we had thought we had all our bases covered. For those of you who feel we've should have planed better for all possibilities in production delay, I apologize for the inconveniences, however our silence has not meant neglect of our supporters as we are still very committed to getting everything promised (And then some) done and completed.
