Trying to Make a personal Comback.

Ok so yeah I've been away a bit. Really sucks. Moms gone and that really sucks as things where starting to turn around in her life. She Just Missed 63 By One month. Looking at Photos from her before the cancer caught on and during and remembering how she looked when she died in my hands. SHe still looked amazing for some one with all that was going on with her, and before the cancer you wouldn't know she was in her early 60's she still looked mid 40's.
Blah damn that stubborn woman.
Anyway so this was yet another Damper on the getting the kickstarter stuff out (as well as working on my own personal comics for Angry Viking Press) and since a lot of things in AVP don't move unless I say so things have been slow the last year and a half. Doesn't help that I'm still waiting on toys for Kenno's FEL, Ken Singshow's Merry, and Eobony's Artica (And I wanted to get Lizzan started as my mom is a Huge fan of that character but sadly I can't get it to her unless anyone here has a Time Machine...IF you do let me know and I'll get her the figure when its eventfully made) .
While most of the Kickstarter backers have been understanding (As it also seem almost all the artists staff have lost a very close family member in the past 2 years along with the Passing of James Hardiman and one of our top freelancer colorists, which has delayed things) some (one) people are kind of frustrated at the delay in things.
Now to some extent they are right in their frustrations, as I am terrible at forth coming with information, partly because 1) Don't want to talk about the personal lives of the artists (And my self, as I too got damn sick thanks to my day job
and telling people I'm in the hospital again, and again due to the chemicals only causes panic) and 2) The production delays in the toys is something that's way out of my control. I can't control a toy factory getting flooded and taking a while to be rebuilt and having still a huge list of back orders in front of my own toys.
That is something I can't control, but what I can do is work with the Toy factory to get limited run prototypes made (Which I'm working on) to the backers as soon as possible, which would take less time to make (but added cost to me) before the full production runs can be started.
Something the general population won't have access to, so it'll be extra exclusive, and a thank you for your patience's reward gift thing for having to deal with the long wait. And I can increase the moral of the team, almost all of whom had a bad past 2 years. We have as always seem to be drawing attention of big names to AVP, even more so lately, however at the same time its still kind of hard (and rude) to demand the staff to make comics after so many family members have died (I know as still feeling bit bummed over my mom not being here to see this). But we can get that going.
So well Lets see how 2016 goes and hopefully it'll be great for all of you to enjoy.
