Whelp...trying to find a companion bird is a bust. I don't really want to 'buy' one, instead I've been looking into shelters and adoption of one. For some reason every person I've got in contact with thinks that 'rehoming' means 'sell it at market value under the table so I don't have to pay taxes on it'. Why are people so dumb with this stuff...I mean seriously, if your rehoming the pet that means your worried about the poor thing being neglected, it shouldn't be about making a quick few hundred bucks, but rather finding some one who cares about that feathered friend and will give them the care you cannot.
TL:DR People use rehoming fees as a way to sell animals illegally instead of finding a proper home.
PS: These people can suck the nastiest part of Stalin's slowly decomposing, and embalmed, balls.
