FA+

i'm also very short, doesn't help X3
BUT i think that people who genuinely believe aliens have been to earth aren't really being pragmatic. a lot of 'ALIENS!!!' theories are kinda couched in the belief that ancient non-white cultures were too stupid to, say, stack rocks into a pyramid. and that's kinda fucked up.
primarily i think UFOs themselves are secret military aircraft, a theory that's kinda backed up by the glut of recently declassified documents from groom lake during the cold war. it's a lot easier to say Oh Yeah, Aliens than explain what this top secret blackbird you're working on is doing. a lot better for national security too.
but i love imagining how life evolved on different worlds, and space exploration science. also i just love a good spooky story.
but as far as hunting bigfoot goes...y'aint gonna catch me in the woods confusing a bear print for a sasquatch print.
Well ya never know what can be truth or deception. I'd be weary about those documents, even if they sound legitimate. In this age of digitalization, it wouldn't surprise me that maybe some can be hoaxed. But one shouldn't discard it 100% for there is an element of truth in perhaps of these stories.
Maybe finding ET life might be easier than you expect
Lol well to be honest, a bear print and a humanoid footprint are very different
i'm one of the annoying realists who gets delighted whenever there's evidence of fossilized microbial life from space. that's really all i need to believe. but humanoid greys probing humans? pfffffff yeah riiiiight if they were real and intelligent, they'd take the willing. and man there's deffo plenty of willing.
as far as area 51 goes though no it's like straight up just cold war test flight stuff. the roswell crash had cyrillic writing all over it, which is why most realists think it was an experimental russian spycraft that crashed or was shot down. but area 51 herself is very, very openly and well documented since the cold war is over. like, no hacking, the documents themselves have just straight up been declassified to a large degree. it's a fascinating place to learn about even without aliens. the test pilot bravado, the lifestyle, etc. you know there was a dude who climbed into his experimental craft with a broken rib? because he didn't wnat to seem like a chicken and say NAH, I CANT FLY TODAY. like the bravado was REDICULOUS.
most of the stuff that didn't go direct to the cold war turned out to be testing for who later became NASA pilots. basically they just shot you into the air in highly experimental flying machines with a high probability of catastrophic failure in the desert and you were supposed to have the balls of steel to not flip out when death came your way. seriously, it's mad fun to read about.
Congratulations!
