I know this is an old journal, but I've just gotten into the Undertale hype and only recently beat it a couple weeks ago. So yeah, holy crap! That game is wonderfully done, amazing script and story telling. There is a great amount of complexity to each character that I adore, and I love how depending on which path you take, you learn more about them. So good! The only thing I wish that was explored more or included was more info/a Gaster encounter. I'm, guessing that originally he was going to be more obviously involved but was cut out.

Agreed! Though part of me thinks he was intentionally implemented like he was, as it adds to his mysterious character. I would love to see Toby release maybe some information on Gaster, or even DLC involving him.

I think that could be a possibility too. One of the main reasons I think he was taken out in later development is because apparently in the game files some sprites and animation/data are still labeled as "Gaster canon/laser" so I'm wondering if, originally he was going to have a larger, more explicit role, but as development progressed, Toby decided to keep him to a minimal and leave small 'trails/hints' for the players to interpret the lore of the world and the character.

Either way, yeah! I would also love it if some dlc were released of him! I know there are some fan boss battles of him already but oh man, if Toby decided to make an official one, that would be 200% satisfaction!
