There's no point in making a new account for the same purpose.
By making a new account, all you do is add to the existing problem of the database being filled with account names and logs.
Considering FA is already a pile of shit, I don't think adding to the dung ball really helps.

Good point. I've already tried pushing Weasyl as an alternative, however the fact of the matter is FA is still by far the most populated site for furry art (image boards aside). So I'd like to maintain some sort of presence here, at least until I have my own site. The name change is more for ease of association, and having already marketed myself using the new one it makes sense. Perhaps also for the feeling of a new start, having gone through a number of changes in the way I do illustration I figured it would suit as well. As for the database, that's not my problem.

It may well be a waste of time, but I'm still considering it.
