I uh, got a bit emotional yesterday

But surprisingly, thats not what this journal is about.
This journals about something simpler.
As some of you know. Im Anosmic. I have absolutely no sense of smell and never have since I was born. My nose has just been my main breathing orifice for 19 years.
Although yesterday, I actually managed to smell something. For the first time. And lucky me it was a good smell
I know this is a stupid thing to make a journal about but it really excited me and made me really emotional and happy like even if it was just the once you have no idea how much this means to me that I actually got to smell something.

What was the smell of (if you saw anything nearby that could have given it) and... how did this happen? ; w ; Was it, like... some sort of rare instance your nose worked temporarily or something? Tell me about it! n.n
It was short lived, but it was still there. I definitely smelled it. I wonder if the strength did it although thats unlikely because I cant even smell death or waste disposal units.
That's so nice though n.n... my heart feels all warm inside imagining how happy you were and still are about it >w< thank you for sharing your experience n.n
because I also have a very very poor sense of taste to go with the lack of smell so its like
sometimes I just feel like am I even human god
I got emotional when I got my glasses, I never knew the world was so colourful and pretty, I only thought my vision was a littly blurry, not as poor as it actually is.
that must be incredible, like a blindman seeing something for a moment; congrats! what was it you smelled?
that's definetely in one of my top 10 nice smells, glad it was that one:) now to see if it's a reproducible event!

Is it just /not/ there or is it just so intensely faint, it's as if it's not working? That's never happened before, so I wonder what happened for it to work now.
Sorry again, these things make me so curious. XD
