...So here's an update.

Hey everyone;
Wanted to give you an update as I know I haven't been online very much -- just busy making changes that will hopefully improve things with my partner and his not-very-good state recently.
To anyone waiting on commissions, know that I've been working on them a little each night; the majority of them are nearly finished. (Aside from the fursuit heads and the monthly images for my wonderful friend
Areyath -- those will come in a while.)
So, it's pretty clear that the free fursuit idea didn't work out. I was surprised -- I really thought it would; I was ready to put myself essentially into slavery for months to get where we needed to be but I'm surprised it didn't work out. Whether it was just something that seemed too good to be true, or the idea that most people just don't have 200+ kicking around per month for an eventually free fursuit, it doesn't really matter. That ship won't sail, so we'll be trying to work around this other ways until I can make things right.
A lot of you very kind people have been trying to offer help financially -- I've already addressed most of these messages, but for everyone else -- it's not really money that we need; it was enough per month to be able to have him quit his job and give me time to start making money doing tattoos to support us both. Because we were unable to make that work, I'll be looking at other solutions. Right now, it's looking like I may have to quit my apprenticeship. Either way things go, I'll let you guys know. But regardless, please don't think we need financial aid -- we don't. I'll eventually open a few select commissions here and there to afford my tattoo equipment, but aside from that, please don't be attempting to send us money for no reason -- seriously. Keep it; you probably need it.
For everyone with kind and supportive words lately -- thank you, seriously. Thank you so much. I tend to get anxious when under a lot of stress, and negative messages make things almost unbearable in my place of comfort, which is among all you people. So for everyone who's been helping and doing gift art and being just generally amazing friends, seriously -- thank you, so much. I'm not sure I can express just how much better it makes one feel in the morning to come on to such wonderful friends.
