~*~ In terms of true passion ~*~
I was just thinking about something this morning.
The joy I have when I am putting together a video for my YouTube channel, that attention to detail in the audio or adding a small touch of production comedy into a clip. Striving to learn all I can with what little I have in video production equipment....
Why don't I share that passion when I draw?
Its strange, I love art, I love interesting characters and beautiful landscapes and I have it in my heart to create such things, yet when I pick up a pencil or pen, marker or brush I panic a little on the inside, there is this feeling of "You have to do this right!" a fear of my looking like something an 12 year old in art class doodled up...
I am elated to edit some videos, thought I don't do it very often.
My hand quivers and my mind goes in a million different directions when I want so badly to be just like my heroes
tartii
bittenhard
atryl and
demicoeur but I am paralyzed by the fact that I'm not talented like they are...
Or I am impatient...
Perhaps I care too much about trying to be like someone, instead of being the best artist that I can be for my own benefit.

Thoughts? Comments? Anyone want to punch me in the face and say "Quite bitching and just draw, you stupid furball!"?

I think lately we have that comparative mindset, instead of just being ourselves and doing what we can do to the best of our ability. ^.^ Gotta strive to be happy to do what you can than trying to be the best. :B Be the best YOU you can be. ^.^
