Meet Holiday Marquez!

Hello! The name is Holiday Marquez, but everyone just calls me Holly. I was born on April 3rd 1994, to a mother I never got to meet. She died shortly after due to complications. She was only alive long enough to give me the name Holiday. My biological father wasn't around, and I was given up for adoption. I wasn't there for long though! It was almost like they were destined for me..
They, were Marie and Antonio Marquez. Like me, they too had gone through a recent tragedy. Marie was supposed to give birth to their first child, but due to complications the child did not make it, and Marie was unable to bare a child. That didn't stop them from wanting to make a family however. The moment Marie stepped into the room her eyes found mine, and it was in that instant that she decided I was meant to be her daughter. It was a bit odd for a human couple to adopt an anthro child, but it didn't stop Marie from taking me home. Antonio wasn't sure about it, but he wanted to make his wife happy, and so, that was how I became apart of the Marquez family!
I had a pretty awesome childhood if I say so myself. I was a only child, and my family was happy to get me anything wanted, but not without working for it. They didn't want me to grow up spoiled, even if I was, just a little bit! As I grew up I found myself getting into all sorts of things! One hobby was not enough to keep me entertained, which I suppose could have been caused by some form of ADD, but that's not important! What's important is the fact that I did pretty much everything! Be it martial arts, playing instruments, drawing, writing, video games, board games, you name it! Course, there were some I took to more than others, which is probably why I'm something of a dork, but you better not tell anyone I said that!
One of those hobbies in-particular was costumes. I think it all started with Halloween and Día de Muertos, or Day of the Dead. I was always making new costumes, even if it were months away, and thanks to my interests in fantasy and sci-fi my costumes would range from mages to aliens! And I like to think I did a pretty good job of it too!
Now that I'm older, and in college with a major in computer networking. I don't have as much time as I would like for all my costume designs, but it doesn't stop me from working on them when I get the chance! I mean, it's not right if I go to a convention not in cosplay! It just feels wrong to me! I think this year I might try something from Warhammer 40K. What do you guys think?
