So he had a prednisone shot on Saturday to see if it will help him. It seems to be working!!!
He had at least three or five fits a day before the shot. He had one coughing fit yesterday afternoon and hasn't had one since.
I am researching up on what can trigger an attack in cats, but I think our air vents coming on are a big one. I'm going to try and save up some money for a humidifier to help him during the winter when the heat is on. Later this week the vet is supposed to call me back and talk to me about treatment options and see how he's doing.
Also, I'm gonna be washing SO MUCH LAUNDRY THIS WEEK. Curtains, linens, anything I can wash to get rid of dust and allergens. Does anyone have a suggestion for dust free litter? He's using pine pellets right now which isn't dusty until it starts getting sawdusty.

As for litter, have you tried newspaper pellets? ;v;
I used to use them with my ferret and they work really well :D
But yes definitely switching to newspaper! :) any idea what brand works best?
I used to use a brand called Yesterday's News. They come in large bags I'm unsure of other sizes.
