Monologue Me

Hey-hey! So, uh, decided to create a small li'l project. May not be to everyone's tastes and may seem a li'l bit artsy fartsy to some, but still, cooouuuld be interesting and pretty funny. Plus, it's gonna get me doing acting-y things a wee bit more, which is always fun for me in my books!
Basically the idea is, I'll post a theme - both here and a couple of other places. You guys provide a single sentence or statement or something based on the theme. I'll take the bunch of sentences I get, sorta order them/put them together in some way, and make something of a mini monologue out of. Will record a li'l audio log of it, add some music and stuff to make it dramatic, we'll see what we get! Could be fun, could be godawful! Let's wait and hear!
For now, our first theme is;
Rise of the Machine

Ever since the first bone or stick to be wielded like a club by a simian, every tool man has ever created has had one thing in common: no will of its own. Until now.
The machine was a mistake - much like the Tower of Babel, we built too close to the divine. And the resulting catastrophe was our punishment. Even without the existence of a higher power, the hubris of man will always be struck down. This one had been a long time coming.
