I think episodic writing and long-form writing both have their own challenges. If you're writing episodes, they can be much more self-contained, which is a plus - but they also do need to be more self-contained, which can be an challenge in that they all need to have some recognisable story structure of their own. On the other hand, episodes allow for faster feedback, and will help you resist the temptation of going back and re-writing too often.

Yeah, I think I've managed to identify a decent breakpoint where the parts of the story before and after are basically entirely different, so I might just cut it in two there and see what people think. We'll see!
