I feel they(the one OP is showcasing and yours) both have great quality in their works and in their own ways. No reason to compare one to another (IMO), we're appreciating the talent they like all artists are developing and showing.

Yup they both do. I already follow both tbh. I just reaaaaally like mordrude's stuff. :P

As the other two said, it's not meant to compare or claim who is better; just trying to help support another fellow artist who deserves recognition. :)

True that. I should have pointed out that "decent" to me is what most consider above average. Most suit makers I kind of laugh when people say they look great when they look like a joke in comparison to the more realistic ones. An example of a similar quality to the one above that I like equally is Beatlecatz and her work. I would never say it's not good but to me that level should be around the level of quality most should strive for. If it were related to university grades, a pass is 90% so most suits are 50 or 60 and the above mentioned one I'd say would be like 97.5, Beatlecatz the same, mordrudes 98.5-99 depending on when the suit was made (she's made vast improvements since I first started following her. Older suits needing upgrades for her are around 96-97) and anything above and beyond what is currently the top quality stuff available would be 100 at least until others catch up with them, making that the new 99 etc.

I've seen some custom jobs at cons done by non business suit makers that fall bellow 50. It's really common to find terrible suits out there.

You're missing the entire point of this journal. it's not to compare and contrast artists, it was meant to showcase one. Nobody wants to know what artist is the highest score on your arbitrary system.

it was a vague example meant to point out that I didn't at all think the artist was bad using, as you pointed out, arbitrary numbers that were completely imaginary.
