"I'm so lame--when you check out the definition my face will pop up."
D O I N K I figured if I'm going to be an artist here I should start by having things like this in the case that someone may want to commission me in the future or something, ya know? Pretty lame, I know, I know, but I'd hope that I'll get lucky enough to do something cool like that one day. ;w; Anyway, here they are!Payment(s):
-All payments should be made in the currency of USD.
-Payments will be accepted throughPaypal ONLY.
-Due to past experiences of people unable to keep up with their word after finishing commissions in the past, all payments are required UPFRONT.
-In some cases, I will allow a partial payment where you will pay half of the expected price within 2-3 days of having your commission request being accepted. Failure to do so without a word or discussion in advance will result in your request being dropped. Communication is key.
-There are no refunds. If everything has been set, said and done and I have already started your commission or partially completed with it, there is no turning back. I will not refund you. Please be aware of this when considering working with me.
The Process:
-All references must be visual. (Unless I am making you a reference sheet then I will take written descriptions)
-Do not rush me. If there is a timeline or certain date that your commission needs to be completed for some reason tell me ahead of time while we are discussing your commission.
-Once the payment is received I will begin sketching. This is the stage where you can request small changes and such. Anything having to do with adding extra characters will result in an additional payment. Once I begin inking, shading, or painting then that’s that. I won’t add anything else to it.
If by chance, I make a mistake such as coloring or any distinguishing features, please tell me and I will gladly fix it for free.
-At any time, you may ask for a progress shot to know where I am at with your commission. I have no problem with this, as I feel it is fair for the commissioner to at least know the progress of things and how they are turning out.
-Very rarely will I stream while working on a commission, they are usually done offline, but if by chance you would like to see me working on your piece then if I have the time for it, I will stream.
Rights of the Commissioner:
-You may upload the work done for you after it is completed on any gallery/site that you have so long as you give credit and link back to my gallery.
-You may NOT trace, alter, or edit my work without my explicit/written permission.
-May not commission original characters without the owner’s explicit/written permission.
-May not make copies, merchandise, prints or sell my work in the hopes of getting a profit from it.
Rights of the Artist:
-I retain all copyrights to my work, which includes but is not limited to: reproduction, distribution, copy and/or use the image as a sample for sales and self promotion. Please be aware of this.
-I reserve the right to reject your commission request without having to explain.
-I reserve the right to modify and resell any sketches or rejected sketches as “pre-posed” at a later date.
What I will and will NOT draw:
I will not accept commissions involving the following subjects below. Do not ask me why or try to compromise about it. The answer is simply no.
