Admittedly, I was expecting Cecil or Terra over Cloud, but... honestly, even though he's probably one of my least favorite protagonists and 7 is my least favorite Final Fantasy game, I really wanna try using him.

I don't really have FF characters that I'd dislike. I actually liked Lightning and Tidus. =3
As for playing Smash, I play for fun, not for glory. I'm fine with whoever they put in yet. It's a great roster of characters so I won't get nitpicky there. X3

You should see the people that are actually trying to petition Cloud out of Smash, that's how mad people are.

i still find it funny. the way they announced him screams "i'm not a ballot winner" (it was basically, 'have a trailer'), and they add that there's a big smash announcement in december...

I don't get why singling out Tidus for a scene that works in context of the game, but is terrible out of context has anything to do with this.

That said, when a friend and I heard about this, his immediate thoughts "Why not Cecil or Terra?" where mine were "Why not Onion Knight or Bartz for the class change mechanic that could have been used?" all of the previous being represented as representatives of their games on Nintendo consoles, where Cloud more or less just showed up in a few, but hardly represented anything more than an appearance or cameo.

That all said, the stage looks fun. And I can't say I wouldn't play Cloud.

Well, I'm no FF fan. I'm just going by what I hear.

Well, I think Cloud was one of the top choices from the ballots. And after watching the trailer.... HOLY SHIT.

The Midgar stage looks EPIC, and the FF7 Summons being the stage hazard just makes it more so.

Even for a guy like me, who's pretty "meh" towards FF7 (Personally, I think FF6 is better...), I gotta admit this is pretty frickin' awesome.
