Well, little Ed is no more. He passed away yesterday. He had recovered from his ordeal quite nicely according to the good folks at the guineapig shelter, but two days ago he suffered a relapse. And yesterday they found him dead in his pen.

R.I.P. Ed, he got to live for almost 7 years. And trust me, for a guineapig that's really old.

As for Marloes, she's still living a happy life, albeit a bit lonely. The people at the shelter promised me they'll find her a new mate, I told them I prefer another bristle. So now it's waiting...
