ahhh the most common problem when owning a tablet. I lost the pen to my bamboo once, still got the tablet, recently lost the pen to my Intuos small, still got the tablet, recently bought a medium...you'd think with all the losses I'd do a better job at keeping up with them but I just can't haha (sometimes things happen where you forget your pen) [I tend to just buy a new tablet instead of pen with the prices and all for replacements...the list is endless]

I have a spare pen for a bamboo (which I don't even own! I just have the pen), and currently have the pen for my bamboo fun.. when they disappear though, they really have a mind of their own to disappear properly. Such a problem

I tend to carry mine around in a holster now never going anywhere w/o them. One of those mandatory check things now like wallets, ID, etc

:U now thAT's a good idea! I just chuck it in with my pens usually but don't always check, I've left it at home accidentally a few times doing that.

Holsters are a wonderful thing for small, valuable objects you use often ;D

I wonder why Wacom stopped building tablets with clips for the stylus, like the Graphire 3 had. Surely not to sell more replacement styluses!?

would not be surprised in the slightest, they practically laughed in my face at the idea of spare pens, pen replacement warranties, and such. However, most tablets are supposed to come with a pen holder anyways usually silk or rubber, although the rubber ones tend to go missing with the pen seeing as they aren't attached to the tablets.

Well, I'm pretty sure the Graphire was aimed at casual hobbyists without workstations - now they don't make tiny tablets, they rely on fold having... uh, tablets of the touch screen kind to whom they can supply styluses that will go missing. :)

Ever since I got a tablet with a black pen it seems to vanish regularly. Back when I used my intuos3 with its two toned silver and dark gray contrasting colors I literally never lost it even once, the thing was so easily visible anywhere. That black one blends with everything.

Wrap some brightly coloured PVC tape around one end? :)

I've thought of that but I'm paranoid about tape gunk getting gross over time and making it sticky. Ideally, I'd like something sturdy but easily removable like a small flat colorful rubber band. Or maybe even a bunch of different colored bands in a neat pattern.

But right now I just don't have the energy to draw so it doesn't matter until I can address that.

Or paint it with acrylic? That shouldn't get gunky and pppprobably won't mess the plastic up.
