not to sound stupid... whats epilepsy exactly?

It is a type of neurological (brain or nervous system) disorder which causes a person to suffer from uncontrollable bouts of seizures. Most common are the Grand maul varieties where a person will violently convulse. I have a rarer variety where i do not convulse but instead basically (from my perspective) "loose time." To others i zone out, my eyes dilate a bit, and i become motionless for a unknown period of time. These are called absent or petite maul seizures.
