The Website of Andy Fox is no more
General
Back in October Comcast did away with their personal web page services, so after something like 15 years living at Comcast and another 5 or 6 before that at another ISP, The Website of Andy Fox is no more. No real loss at this point. It was old and hadn't been actively maintained in years. The art gallery had moved to here. The photo galleries are on Flickr now. About the only still useful things on it was my animation cel collection, a little tribute to cartoon foxes, and some pages on how I made my fursuit.
There is a little bit of nostalgic loss. Because the page had been around for so long it'd been seen by many a fur. I've been told on multiple occasions how someone had stumbled upon it many many years ago and it was that page that led them to discover the furry community or strengthened their love for cartoons and foxes. I can't help but find that a bit touching.
So, without any fanfare or salute, The Website of Andy Fox shall slip away quietly into the infinite void of time. Another golden time has ended.

What was the URL, by the way? It's probable that even if Comcast forgot you, the internet did not.Strike that question...with a couple minute's investment...

Yes indeedie, this web site belongs to a 'toon--a toon fox, that-is. I'm a skilled cartoon contract consultant, an agent to many toon actors, and a toon scientist. Sound bizarre? Not really. There are lots of us toons and furries around on the web!

I swear. The internet's mascot should not be a spider, but an elephant. For it sure works hard to never forget.
Sure. The days of GeoCities is long gone. But, I think TriPod still offers free sites, if you have even the remotest desire to resurrect your site without investing too much more then time.
At any rate, I have you to thank for maintaining my site and helping me to edit and ultimately to save it.
Thank you so much Fox.
