honestly i have never been to a con i know very little other then that place its only about 2 hours north east of my home.

i have a good friend who has been to them all o.o he says it is a good one just not as big as some conventions.

Motor City Furry Con is held at Sheraton Detroit Novi Hotel, and with the exception of MCFC 2015, the convention is during the second weekend of April.
Membership is open to anyone 18 years and older.

Yea, I can understand being anxious about a new place and it is your first con. Do you have anyone in mind that you can go with?
