I haven't written a journal in months. Mostly because I haven't been around to be honest. I was in a rough spot for months and we are just now pulling out of it. Unfortunately, I will not be attending MFF this year for multiple reason.

Reason 1. I am broke. I'm really not broke, but I'm broke enough to say that MFF just cannot happen. My finances need to come first and there was just not room for it this year. I also just started a new job and didn't want to be an asshole by taking off a bunch of days for a con.

Reason 2. The timing for this con since they had moved it, is awful. I have to spend money on plane tickets to see my family vs tickets to a con. They put it around finals for some friends which makes it hard for them to even attend and it's around the Holidays. I haven't seen my friends or family for almost a year and I would rather be in their presence this year.

Reason 3. Some of the regulars I hang with won't be there and they are the people that make the con more enjoyable for me. I love meeting new people to hangout with or in general just being around my friends from all over the country but there are those few that make it an awesome experience and they cannot make it this year either.


Hopefully I will see you guys in 2016 though! We do plan to be at FWA and possibly MCFC!
