Another update

I'm hopefully going back to school in the fall, for Computer Programmer, but since I've been out of school for so long, I've got to 'update' my hhigh school credits. Fun to be redoing Grade 12. So far things are going pretty well, I'm done 4 of 12 units of the Grade 12 Math, and got a 98% average right now.
I'm doing some of the credits online, and they start next week. I'm trying to make myself go online for at least a couple of hours each day, to get into the habit for when I doing them. I'm hoping that between the in class credits, and the online credits, I can get some of the cobwebs and rust out of my mind, BEFORE I (hopefully) start school this fall.
The reason I'm going back to school is I got laid off in February, and the Ontario government has a program for laid off workers to get retrained for a new career. I've always been interested in Computers, and figure there's always going to be a need for people to write the programs for them, so... Unfortunately, I'm having to fight to get the course of study I want, as I'm a truck driver. The Ontario government is still paying for people to go through and get their licenses, so they think I should be having no problem getting a new job. Unfortunately, I will not go long haul trucking any more, as I have five children that I want to see grow up. I already missed several years when I drove over the road before, and I won't do it again. Besides, even those jobs are scarse with the economy the way it is right now.
