Hehe...A Million digital Double Fudge Chocolate chip cookies for the laddy that knows where I got that special word from...because I'm pretty certain no one but me would notice one singular poorly phrased word from a slew of other poorly phrased words that are equally as ridiculous and incoherent...or better XD
How have you all been? Hope everyone got to have a decent Turkey Day. Ended up having two Turkey Day's kind of; My sister and her husband held the main gathering, and my mother decided to make a Turkey back home since we left a lot of leftovers at their place. All good food...and I'm going to have to replicate this Creme Cheese Corn concoction that was made sometime this Christmas (that was delicious as Heaven).
*Wipes the drool off my panting maw* ...anyways...
So; the real point of this journal other than wishing everyone Happy Holidays and hoping all are well was to give a quick update on my projects.
...I suck -___-....
Let me rephrase. So far I've still be lacking the drive to continue past projects still in progress. I've been attempting to get back into writing AND drawing lately though those moments of drive pewter shortly. I should be focusing on the projects in-progress but when I can't focus on those or still stuck on how I want to continue them I've been trying to write something new. I have a few new shorties started but even those I pewtered out quickly (or not too proud of). I don't know...am I starting to get fatigued with all this? I really hope not.
I'm still waiting on some time-off work has been promising me since October, but due to my boss having trouble hiring reliable help for my department and one of my coworkers IN my department leaving us this week it's been 'difficult' to say the least. As much as I would like to demand that they get me my vacation time already I don't want to leave my department in the lurch with only two associates for two-three weeks (I'm not really certain on the details and length of my vacation, I'm just assuming considering how many hours they said I racked up and need to use).
~Looks over past journal entry titles~ ...One of these days I'll have a journal entry that says I've completed something. I'm tired of making excuses and delaying my projects. And I know you all might be tired of it too. I've been getting comments in the past few months about when I'm continuing THIS story or if I ever plan on making a NEW CHAPTER for THAT series. I WILL and I DO, and all I can ask at this time is that I hope you can be as patient as I am with other artist and writers I watch.
Until then; more work work and Christmas shopping for me. Also helping out a few close friends with moving their stuff to a community apartment this week. I feel a bit depressed that I couldn't move in with them, but still trying to pay off my own credit card debts and not entirely thrilled that the landlord is one of our friend's who is kind of a dick (at least between me and him). Plus...if I had moved in with them I'd be taking the garage (and that would be a cold room...though then it again it been a large room all to myself...sigh...).
Will post a new update later this week, hopefully with good news. Until then, "Keep Christmas Krumpus!"
