MFF 2k15 whoot whoo.... aww man its over dx

Brief apology for the radio silence, but i have spent the past weekend attending the most wonderful convention "Midwest FurFest", or MFF for short.
For those who do not know, MFF is a convention dedicated to those who enjoy anthropomorphic characters and art. It is particularly characterized by a larger than normal percentage of people displaying 'fur-suits' (witch are essentially personalized mascots, but with much more detail), this year we had over 1,300 people in suit, which is a sight to behold!
For those who do know... let me just say that this year was my first year at MFF, and my 3rd con overall. MFF completely blew away every possible expectation i had. Everything from the atmosphere, the hotel location, the dance floor, the lounge, the greenroom, the dealers den, everything was absolutely stunning. The convention went off smoothly, and everything worked out beautifully in the end! grin emoticon
There were a few scares, i lost my wallet on Friday night, it fell out of Kweh somewhere on the sky-walk between the hotel and convention floor. Obviously this was a problem (100+ cash, ISU card, debit, parking pass, drivers license, everything), but thank my lucky stars some beautiful person turned it in to the hotel, thus saving my poor bacon!
The last dance of the convention on Sunday night was epic. I went out in Pandora, and we danced for over an hour until i got extremely overheated. This is nothing new, i just had to take a break but for some reason this time when i took a break to cool off, i got super slow and my limbs felt really heavy like molasses. I spent the next hour in suit in a daze, listening to the music and enjoying it but unable to move, my body was incredibly lethargic. Eventually my wonderful friends Lindsey Broadhead and Cryptic Nightwing noticed my condition and lead me away to cool off. Lindsey guided me back to the hotel, as i could barely stand on my own... This could have ended badly had they not been there for me, and i cannot thank them enough for their attentive support. I had officially danced until i could physically dance no more.
Due to the extreme graciousness of Madison Rager, i was able to spend upwards of 16 hours in suit, the majority being in her suit "Pandora". Despite the suit being ordinarily hot and unusually difficult to see anything while wearing; I cannot express how wonderful it felt to be bringing to life such a beautiful suit. Bringing such a unique personality to the convention floor was a blast, and i cannot thank Madison enough!
Our roomates, Pox, Riley, Ruru, and Dolphy were amazing, i am glad to have roomed with these beautiful and unique characters!:)
I cannot believe it is all over already... it ... it will be remembered dearly, and missed greatly. I will do everything i can to attend next year, as it is an opportunity that i cannot pass up.
Post con depression will be strong... Thankfully i have next year to look forward to ! grin emoticon
