I'm a 1/3 Property owner now Technicly and larger headache

UGHHHHH So I'm now 1/3rd owner of Cambridge MA property that's worth anywhere between 900k-2m. Sounds cool right? Well this was supposed to go to mom and YEARS ago (and yeah that would have REALLY helped us the many times we where homeless), but one of my mom's cousins have been squatting on the property and the Oldest aunt doesn't want to deal with her so shes letting her buy the property for 500k over the next 30 years (split 3 ways).
But the Lawyer is not saying directly but he's alluding that I should contest the sale to the my Mom's cousin, and convince my other two aunts to have us sell the land outright and get the true value of it.
BUt then that would require us kicking her off the property, and that can be messy in courts, and then comes the taxes and Probating of the 1/3 that belonged to mom, to officially go to me. :/

In the end neither got anything and the relation ship between my mother and two of her sisters seem to be permanently destroyed, despite the fact that she could care less about the land or money.
To be honest, I would do my best to wash my hands of the whole affair. But that's my opinion. You have to do what's right for you.
