Soon all military dogs will retire on U.S. soil
10 years ago
A friend of mine posted this link on Facebook. Given that War Dogs has been the Charity at FurFright and Furpocalypse since I started attending, I thought it would be appropriate to mention here. Quote from the article, "President Obama has signed the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act, which guarantees all military service dogs a ride home and retirement on U.S. soil. In addition, the handlers who served bravely alongside them will be given the first rights to adopt these canine heroes."
