Wow, already over a year since any real updates. Here's what you might've missed:
Been kinda down overall. Last two furcons I went to didn't even get writeups here, and I usually love doing those. A shame, since I've met so many cool fuzzies at FC/MWFF 2015 that I probably didn't keep track of unless we shared twitter info. Didn't help that a good buddy passed 6 months ago now. So I've mostly been keeping to myself. I'm sorta on the upswing - we'll see what the future holds.
While biking, had a close enounter with a car that sent me over the handlebars. Probably avoidable in the sense I should've gently gone around a car that suddenly pulled in front of me, but i have a nice two inch scar to show for it *shrug*.
Worked for a little while as a medical scribe in the ED (aka a hospital's emergency department, which has more than one *room* and is thus not an ER). Saw some shit (cool, sad, and hilarious), got out because my brain problems are more than I expected, and administration issues stacked the dice against me. Also got fired that same week from my other part-time job :q
After months of inactivity I've got some writing started - thinking about life type stuff, basic (and advanced-ish) philosophy. Hopefully some people share their brutally honest thoughts (all comments will be anonymous) and some discussion can be had. Maybe I'll finish and post one of the eight stories I've been working on (all together, I've got the first two Harry Potter books worth of material written and probably enough notes to write out three more). All the backend stuff is sorted, i just gotta translate my notes into something readable!
Conwise: FC is a maybe. After that is a mystery since I may be living in one of several states, in several stages of busyness. I've got interviews for California and Iowa and Las Vegas lined up late Jan,, and am waitlisted for a Pittsburgh seat.
I appreciate every last one of you fuzzies - keep being the awesome people I befriended >:3
