why ya getting kicked out?

As both my roomies work through this site I would rather not discuss it here. That would be shitty of me. All I will say is we had some stress over things.

Just thought I'd point out, in pretty much every state if your name happens to be on the lease your roommates cannot legally kick you out/evict you until the lease is up. Regardless I hope you can find another place to go that won't break the bank.

Agreed with this. Whether or not they're members of the fandom on this site as well, it's really shitty for them to decide you can't be there anymore. You should be able to feel safe and secure in your own home.

I guess I never really did. I always felt uncertain. Tiptoeing to avoid taking up too much space. Sure I made mistakes but when brought up I made the effort to correct them. I have never lived alone. This is so new to me there is bound to be a curve.

The big problem is I am an occupant not a lease holder, so they can. They gave me a month and a bit, It Was supposed to be 5 initially (May). With how things went I am glad it wasn't immediate.

Even then legally they have to give you 30 days. However go have a chat with the apartment office to find out the specific lease terms. Some of them treat occupants similarly to the leaseholders and find out what your rights are. Seriously. Don't hesitate. You may not want to cause drama or issues, but if the worst comes to worse and if you're good to go then you won't be out on the street with nowhere else to go if you haven't found another place by then.
