Wow. As of yesterday, I've been in the military for 10 whole, solid years. Strange to think of, considering it all seems to have gone by so quickly.
As for other life updates. Merry Christmas to you all. and a new year! Hope things have been well for all of you! I've been doing decently enough. gainfully employed and busy, so I've no major complaints aside from a little thing here and there, work and stress related, but I can deal with it.
In other news, I've been on a huge camping kick (as well as my usual wanting to buy tons of firearms.) been buying all sorts of things in anticipation of this summer coming around, and just getting away for a weekend or two (or an entire week, if I can help it!)

You must have joined up at the same time I did, but I have been sat around with a busted knee for 9.5 years instead of being military :L
Pro-tip: Buy french military rations for camping x3
If you ever see it Menu 5 with the Nepalese style pork curry is very nice ;3
The packs do seem to have a lot of extras, but they are designed for 24 hours combat use. The MRE is supposed to be just one meal and the snacks and drinks to last until the next meal as far as I am aware :3
