For Those With Windows 10
I read an article in today's Chicago Tribune I want to share with everybody else. The article, by Adam Rouse and Lori Andrews, warns that Windows 10 has programs that monitor your Internet usage and violate your privacy. What to do:
1)Turn off sharing your information with advertisers by going to the "privacy" setting page and toggle "off" the switch that allows advertisers to see your advertising ID.
2)Turn off automatic Wi-fi network connections (some of which may be from hackers) by going to the "network and Internet" settings page and choose "Wi-fi" and "manage Wi-fi settings". Under "connect to suggested hot spots", toggle "off" that switch to prevent that possibility.
3)If you have a microphone, anyone can hear your speak through it. Go to "privacy", click on "microphone", and toggle "off" that switch to prevent this.
4)Don't use Microsoft's cloud storage service. It's not secure at all.

Things were already mostly like that - but sound advice.
