Fear for the future
For I fear for the future;
For I am nobody
And I never was anybody.
For I shall never be somebody.

Life will be hard and it will disable me
And I will continue climbing toward an ungodly lightness
One that moves further up the more hopeful I am
Until its light has disappeared into the sky
And it becomes just another star
An unreachable star
Unattainable in its grandiosity;
It's not me who has the fault,
Is it?

It's the universe.
