2015 recap/2016 plans!

Give me fuel! Give me fire! Give that which I desire! Oh my jebus...it's been a busy year...and an expensive one! But we'll disregard that part for the time being.
Anyway, this is a wrap up of the past year and what I plan to do in the coming year, and brother, let me tell you I have a lot in mind. Now that doesn't mean it's set in stone, but!.....I do hope it comes to me in due time.
Alright, first things first, today marks my second year on FA, and in those two years, and primarily in the last year I have grown quite a bit! And I thank you all who have been there to support me, whether it be with a compliment or suggestion, it has all been greatly appreciated. Now I know I haven't come to each and every person and said so, but hell...working a full time job and life, it has me consumed. x.x
Now art wise, I'm still fairly new, I mean...my first piece was my reference sheet and that was put up eight months ago, but then again that was when I finally had the finances to get art, until then I was using Gideon pieces, and nothing wrong with Gideon, love his work and great guy. Seriously though, he gets too much flak for his work, lay off the guy, he's an awesome artist. But more to the point I've been into fur's for a while now, since before my freshman year of high school back in '09, which seems forever ago now. Though it was only here recently I was finally, and I can't stress the word FINALLY enough when I say that I was able to afford art in the last year. And might I say great work to Freckles for bringing the vision of my character to life! <3
Now things I did furry wise in the last year range from getting a number of art pieces to going to my first con at MFF. I have to admit, it took a while to get use to things, but once I was, I loved every minute, and since it has fueled me to look up more cons to see if I could find more I could attend, and so I have, but that will be mentioned in the things to come portion.
As of things present, I'm still waiting on...well a few pieces to be done, and even more badges! Yes, love me some badges. Why I want to go to more cons so I can show them off like some sort of furry bling! Huehuehuehue!!!
Umm...what else?...not much else I can think of in 2015 to list, although it'll probably come to me after I post this (always does) so if there is anything else I'll just make another journal or mention some other time in a another one.
Now!...The good part, 2016 and what I hope to accomplish in it.
First off...art, I plan on getting more of it of course! For mine and your viewing pleasure at home, all you perverts. I just hope they will be as popular as my Christmas pic though, good lord that thing was favorited like a million times...well...I wish it was at least. It felt like it, ok!
Umm...cons should be a good next subject. Now for cons I have a few in mind. Now I'm going to list them by date and elaborate on each one after that.
Gateway Fur Meet in St. Louis Missouri, May 13th-15th
Anthrocon in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania, June 30th-Jul 3rd
Memphit Furmeet in Olive Branch Mississippi, Sep 2nd-4th
Fangcon in Knoxville Tennessee, Oct 31st? (scheduled wasn't up yet.)
Midwest Furfest in Chicago Illinois, Dec 1st-4th
Now...the ones I am gonna try the hardest to attend (in this order) are Midwest Furfest, Memphit Furmeet, Fangcon, Gateway Fur Meet, and then Anthrocon.
Now I know, Anthrocon is at the end, reason being that's the farthest and...I don't really have the best modes of transport, but if my income tax check is kind to me then I will do my hardest to get a little car that I might be able to drive there.
Also, this will be quite costly going to these cons, and I'd hate to say this would mean less art but I will for sure have to tighten my belt in the coming year if I wish to attend these cons.
Now if anyone would like to help me out on these trips then please, let me know now and I'l see what I can swing.
For the next thing, it's still fairly new so not sure when it will happen. Me (as in my character) just might be one of the main characters in a coming up short comic!
Now the comic is called "In the Dark Below" and it's a short story from the comic series "All the Kings Men" by
theBlackRook who approached me to see if I was interested. But of course I was! I've been wanting to be in a comic for some time now.~
So we talked for a bit and I said sure, so be on the look out for Ben in TheBlackRook's upcoming comic!

For the next bit, I have also thought about getting into the art game myself, and by that I mean starting to do pieces. I was always into art when I was in school and did well in art classes, but after I graduated high school I never really had time to go back and draw anymore sadly. So to get into the furry art scene would do me some good I think, knock the rust off and give me another hobby (like I need another one.)
Not sure when that'll be though...tablets I'm looking at, which are Surface Pro's, can be quite pricey...so we'll see.
Also, Zootopia! It's a movie coming out March 4th, one I didn't find out about till I went to watch Star Wars on Christmas Eve. Why hasn't there been more hype for this movie in the furry community!?!?! I was shocked no one had at least mentioned it in a journal. Anyway, I was wanting to see about getting a group together either in Jackson TN or Nashville TN to watch it if at all possible, and if anyone is interested then please comment below!

Now as for a final thought, all I can say I've had a few plans brewing inside my head that I had yet made actions on completing, so instead of listing them here and having them fall on their face, I'm just gonna hold onto them until they are confirmed or just go to the wind. But know one of the ideas is a big one, a life changer you could say, and that's the one I am hung up on the most.
Anyway, hope you all have a great night, get shit faced, but don't drive in that condition.
