I suppose I should type a little of what's been happening thsee past few months. They've been rather busy, but filled with opportunity. As I work in a hotel, I have been working rather steadily toward getting my Red Seal in culinary. This has left less time to focus on FA, or my character. It has allowed me more professional opportunities to grow and advance, though!

I got to work in the Rocky Mountains of Alberta this summer, where I enjoyed some fresh air (and only some due to wildfires in the area). Now, I get to explore the wintery North for a few weeks, and see not only the splendour of the Aurora Borealis, but to plan an evening menu for a boutique hotel.

I never thought this sort of opportunity would ever come. But... well, here things are.

I get to take an item off my Canadian bucket list.
