to have a discussion about how transformation with certain kinds of physical characteristics that real life people possess as the end result treats being a person with those characteristics as a physically impossible fantasy scenario
ha ha ha ha
no like 4 real i struggle with this... it bothers me sometimes w/ chub stuff and its also the reason i don't draw much by way of TF where someone like acquires a vagina or w/e despite being into that conceptually?? theres just such a can of worms there wrt misogyny and transphobia that i dont wanna open up unless i know im handling it respectfully

you know, WHATEVER i post here's always the "whos going to be faving this whos going to be reposting this will their reasons for being into it be the same as mine or will it make me super uncomfortable" but with stuff like that it's especially... mmmm
for the most part im willing to just suck it up and draw what i want but with some areas and subjects (""''tg"''' stuff especially hoo boy) how its treated on the whole is so offputting & dodgy that its just like... WELL I'LL JUST GO BACK TO DRAWING PEOPLE TURNING INTO FARM ANIMALS I GUESS
thank u for the reassurance tho! i just wanna make stuff that makes ppl feel good and not bad... u kno
GOOD FEELS ART IN 2016 & FOREVER
i mean essentially its not so much about the art as about the thinking+fantasisising that led to the art being made? Say a pic of a guy turning into a lady dragon, it's about a guy finding out what it's like to have a vagina (and be a dragoni guess) - that's the fantasy, and it's a pretty common one i guess???
i guess
In the end, however, it all comes down to your own personal choice. As a watcher, I´d love to enjoy more of your work in any way, shape or form, and seeing you experiment with a bunch of new themes and subjects would definitely be refreshing. Still, if you´d rather stick with the good ol´TF and character art of yours, that would still be fine. To quote a renowned crazy person: Do what thou wilt.
(Oh, and your chub stuff is adorable - don´t let anyone tell you otherwise!)
(also what i meant wrt chub stuff is that i enjoy drawing and looking at art of chubby characters bc i am fat but a lot of the time the way people engage with it makes me uncomfortable for the reasons i alluded to in my journal. like its being treated exclusively as a fantasy rather than a way real people look. nobodys givin me shit for my stuff!)
Still, I don´t consider any of your work disrespectful in any way, and you don´t seem like the type of artist that would create anything that´s deliberately trying to upset anybody - in my opinion, you are just worrying a little too much about the way people might react to your work.
If I had to give some general advice, I´d just suggest you draw content that may or may not be considered problematic the way you would like to see it depicted - Taste- and respectfully, in that unique and cute cartoony style of yours, perhaps with a little bit of humour thrown into the mix, just to show that you are simply having fun doing something you enjoy, and are not trying to offend anybody whilst doing so.
