Ewok is back

Yesterday, an elder lady saw him shaking in the parking of a church near the forest. When she went back nearly two hours later, he hadn't moved so she sent the pound to take him. I took him back home today, but there is lot of unexpected expenses that went with his return. I dearly love my baby so I took everything on my credit card to make sure I get everything he needs. I'm not able to work as of now because of physical and psychiatric disabilities. I don't even know how I will be able to refund my card :( If anybody feels generous or maybe know an association in France that could maybe help me a bit, that would mean a lot for me!

After Christmas, I've got literally nothing left on my Paypal either >_>
They charged you with every penny it took to get him back? The pound? Or is he ill?
The pound charged me 87,50 euros to get him back. Somebody stole his harness, two leashes and his medal, he was left with only is anti-fleas collar while wandering in the wild. Re-ordering everything costed me nearly 100 euros. His vet check-up costed about 65 euros, and he may need another check-up (such as blood test) to be sure there is no hidden troubles. Next vet appointment should be somewhere around 200 euros. He is very nervous for now so I'm gonna buy him some plant-based powder to put in his food that should help him, which is nearly 25 euros by itself. I still have to buy him food (I had a end of bag left) and some canned food as he lost a lot of weight (nearly 10kg). And finally, when I tried to catch him I have rent a live trap cage that costed me 350 euros. Much cost @@ But whatever, my baby is back <3
That really is a lot. Only recently, when I wanted to get a plush, I came up with the idea of converting Euro back into our previous currency...and I didn't want it anymore o_o Everything has gotten so much more expensive with that currency. If back then, someone would have told you, look, you'll have to buy the basics for your dog for 1300 Schilling you'd have given him a weak laugh and said 'Yeah, sure, it's made of gold, or what?'
Then again, there are cheaper and more expensive countries. In Austria, we pay 1.50€ for something and in Germany you'd pay 1€ for the same thing.
But generally, when we got the € they rounded up everything.
God save Europe. I could throw up.
I do suggest you keep him close to home until he fully recovers, and gets more attached to you than before.
