250 a day and go from there: you'll be much happier just having a consistent writing schedule. I try to go for 100 a day, just so it's less daunting; anything past that can be considered a bonus. Keep up the excellent work, Kusa!

Based on my own struggles, might I suggest setting those long-running series aside for a while and trying some fresh, short fiction? When you've been working the same story for literally years on end, it does get tiresome and you start having other ideas. Why not go chase a few and write them out even if it's only as outlines?

It also helps me to set personal deadlines for work, even if I don't meet them it gives me incentive to get something down every week. I usually set my *finish* time to Friday, my edit time to Saturday and my post time to Sunday.

Still, some good advice in these comments, just wanted to thank the lot of you for that. And I do not think you had a terrible year personally, but I understand it not being what you wanted it to be. Let's hope 2016 is a better year for us all.
