About Sushi Kim Meetup
The Sushi Kim meetup will not be hosted by me this year.
If anybody wishes to take up the "tradition," feel free to state so here.

The short version of the long story:
*I was getting a lot of interest after the meetup had happened.
*People were taking advantage of the "we'll make sure you have enough money" / "pick up a couple dollars" hospitality
*People sent me rather rude notes after they missed the meetup, blamed it on me

So as much as I adore everybody, I just can't keep doing this. If you still want to meetup for Sushi Kim / AnthroCon, plan it out elsewise.

That all sounds pretty unfortunate. I can see not wanting to expose yourself to it again.

I adore everybody in the group, I really do, but there's no justifying the negativity related to the meetup.
After one heck of a message I received last year when somebody missed the meetup, I decided it's best to discontinue it.

Omg I'd go with someone!

Do try the Anthrocon.org website in the need a ride / need a room forums.
