Normally not one to beg or pander, but my summer job plans fell through and there are slim chances of my finding another one due to the area that I live in being desolate in terms of activity during the summer. Sob story aside, even smaller commissions would be helpful for me right now, and I'm more than happy to negotiate or do smaller, simpler commissions for lower fees rather than huge or elaborate pieces.
