Hey all i just wanted to ask you to see if you know any other ways the may be better to decide my request stuff. So something different then the first come first serve way i do it. Just wanted to see my options if i can make it easier and maybe more fair for you guys. Thanks

the alternative i could think of would be open for X amount of time then you pick Y requests randomly

Hmm that does sound alot more fair conisdering if anyone is like me i dont check my journals 24/7. Think I'll try that next time

Have people comment then use an rng generator

Could always use a random number generator whilst barring those who already got a request within a set time of your choice.
