Thank you to all for the Watches, Favourites and great comments!
*growf!*Hmm... so more than one person has brought up an interesting downside to the lack of quick commentary under the picture links - now it's not clear what species the picture has, or what it's about. So... thought about that a while and was thinking of trying to expand the tagging system to include that sort of info, but how detailed to make it starts to get confusing. Like, could it be (C4: nsfw, m;dragon/m;canine) or does that not go into enough detail as to what's going on or more specific info on the species and so on. Problem is, the more I thought about it, the more it goes from a simple tagging system to a very complex one that requires a much larger Legend, and lots more time taken to create an appropriate tag. So... maybe I should just bring back the commentary and just try not to get too carried away with it? Like, saving a few minutes of my time only to cause more in terms of time spent by dozen or hundreds of others isn't what I was aiming for. :/ So... I'll keep on doing them unless we figure out something that is mutually better.
TC's (not so) Random Music PickAlso, alas, yesterday was announced another massive loss for the world of music - David Bowie passed away after an 18 month long fight with cancer. Bowie's impact on music as well as movies was MASSIVE. His ability to continually reinvent himself and define new musical styles and even just style itself was amazing. I can't even begin to do justice to the immensity of his impact. And whether or not you directly liked his stuff, there was no denying how big a deal it was. More than just music, his bravery to challenge gender identity in performance and music, and to be daring without fear of what people thought of him. You can see his influence in artists from Peter Gabriel to Madonna to Lady Gaga today. To get an idea of the immensity of this man's life, just look at the reaction to his passing, from world leaders, to astronauts, to the Vatican (seriously) and other musicians: http://www.cbc.ca/news/trending/dav.....tion-1.3398167
So in honour of his life, today's song picks or some of my favourites from him:

The Bowie moment I remember most was back around 1996 or 1997. He had a concert in Toronto, and Nine Inch Nails (whom he had worked with on his recent album) was the opening band. Admittedly I initially had gone more with an interest to see Nine Inch Nails, but Bowie was so worth it. After NIN did their bit, Trent Reznor and Bowie sang a duet of NIN's "Hurt" together on stage at the SkyDome (now called the Roger's Centre). It was chilling - Bowie's vocals were SO powerful and moving, and you could just see the surprise on people's faces at how powerful the song sounded. The rest of the show was amazing - Bowie made NIN look like kids who barely knew what they were doing on that stage.... because they were, by comparison. Amazing performer and talent. R.I.P. David - thank you for all the music and time you gave us.

Foxypaws - https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18739436/ (C4: nsfw-ish, m/m)Why: Heh, because Smawgy is a lucky, lucky dragon - whether he realizes it or not. Although....... maybe he's grumpy because he's not getting to see those sexy soles playing with his snout! I really like this one myself, I guess because a) I would LOVE to be Smawgy here, and b) this is a really awesome close up of Foxypaw's nice toes and soles. :)
CariFoxLeopard:
(placeholder) - She's got a job now, remember - may not always be able to make every paw post!
MoodyFerret:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18681186 (C3: sfw, m)
One beautifully shaded and detailed ferret character for Ferret-san, showing off his gorgeously detailed sole and toes. :)
Popcorn-Panic:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18730162/ (C4: nsfw, f, ref.)
Ref. sheet for ShadowWolfFox's sexy character Sable Somerset. This beautiful (and dangerous) canine likes to fight, and she has a thing for pain too so... don't think you're winning... she might just be letting you. ;)
EthanW:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18731976/ (C4: nsfw, m/m, charr!)
Loki and Tribune Rytlock Brinmstone going at it again. I swear... Loki's got the BEST under the table (or um... on it, in this case) arrangement going with the Tribune. :3
Cagey:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18731998/ (C3: nsfw, m/m)
Thuggish looking Cheetah guy very much enjoying some conveniently trapped footpaws of some other guy (not sure of species).
KronexFire:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18732007/ (C3: nsfw, m)
BIG bear dude looking all shy and stuff, daw. Great broad and full-soled footpaws that have an almost shy pose to them. ^_^ Aww.
Anyare:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18733065/ (C4: nsfw, multiple m/f)
Holy moly! So THAT'S what all that loud bird chatter you sometimes hear in the trees is all about. :3 A couple nice showings of paws here, specially Muriat's on the lower right.
3DiNoZ:

https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18761846/ (C4: nsfw, m)
A whole bunch of cool shots from 3D! The first one of the dragon Draca44 especially; holy MOLY those are such big, meaty and beautifully detailed footpaws. The second hybrid between a blue jay and dragon... that's neat, and results in some pretty neat feet too. The last is a good old Lucario type character with glowy toe pads. ;)
Dust-kun:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18736084/ (C4: nsfw, m/m, charr!)
Because charr. A Engineer seems to have strayed into a ranger's territory and is paying for it. Or....... maybe getting rewarded for finding him (I don't think he's really hating what's going on). Great footpaws on them both, especially that up-lifted left one on the Engineer!
EccentricChimera:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18743811/ (C3: sfw-ish, f)
This vulpine's working out... and... it seems you've found yourself in a micro's position under one very big, warm footpaw. Nice view!
SorcererLance:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18752582/ (C3: nsfw-ish, f/m)
Toriel (aka Goat Mom) getting her big beautiful feet tended by Asriel.... 'cause when she said she's got butterscotch/cinnamon treats... it's WAY better than what you're expecting. :3
Ekbellatrix:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18755609/ (C4: sfw, m/tf?)
Cute canine couple (or perhaps soon-to-be couple) with a lovely view of the male's footpaw. Not sure if the other is a trans-female or just cross-dressed male (like it matters anyway). :P
Teaselbone:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18756794/ (C2: sfw-ish, f/m, macro)
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18761463/ (C2 & C4: nsfw, m/m, macro)
First pic we have Labbeth's "Peaches" about to nom Ducan Roo (that is so going to give her indigestion). We get to see her big and wide footpaws.... just... don't get too close or you'll end up like Duncan, no doubt. Second one we have PetrAkula's shark character doing something I have admittedly never seen before - letting Drake26's roo character use his nuts as bench-press weights. *laughs* So..... I guess Petr's spotting? XD
Vallhund:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18765356/ (C3 & C2: nsfw, m/m, TCO!)
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18765366/ (C4: nsfw, m, TCO!)
Now that's a bit of a surprise to find while snorkelling! I don't know the characters here, but one is a lion (with the C3 feet) and the other looks sorta like a shark/sergal hybrid - very nice! In the second picture, we have a really long and agile looking canine with a tiger-like pattern on his fur, and of course, nice big toes and pads.
ZP92:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18757056/ (C2: nsfw, f)
And here's yet another thing you don't see much - a walrus lady! Bet you never thought you'd be oogling walrus feet, eh? Very nice soles. :3
Yaoifairy:
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/18762121/ (C3/C4: nsfw, m/f)
Ducky's mother (from the Land Before Time) and macharius_Orn_Kornari's dragon character her enjoying her - and her big feet.
And that's it for today! Whew... see y'all for Friday's Paw-Post. :)

You of all all people should know better! We're almost the same age! How could you forget the "furriest" of David Bowie's songs from your list.....(and truth be told, my favourite Bowie song/movie ever.......) Cat People. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VpdHMaccjw4 from your tribute list!
A little bit of me died inside when I heard the news he was gone. I loved the man, his music, his movies, his mixing of the visual and audio arts into works of fantasy. RIP David.
But aye, it was a loss that really hit a lot of people; he was a very kind, funny and innovative man. And while we lost tons of artists well before their time, in Bowie's case there was was SO much creative genius, the loss is tragic no matter when it would have happened. :(
Hadfield's tweet about it was very touching as well: "Ashes to ashes, dust to stardust. Your brilliance inspired us all. Goodbye Starman."
And thanks to his role as the Goblin King, I think he helped to confuse a lot of people's sense of gender expectation too. XD
On a much lighter note, I really enjoyed MoodyFerret's feature this entry; the overall look and feel is really neat, it has the feel of an old photograph, and the rendering is beautifully done. :D
And yes! I've liked Moody's footpaw stuff for over a decade, back when she used to go by Miach. I just was surprised to find I was not watching her. O_o Every now and then, I find some epic-watch issues.
Oh wow, that's awesome! And I have that sort of thing happen entirely too often; I'll swear I watch someone, but then stumble across some artwork I've not seen yet and NOPE -- hadn't been watching them. :'s
One of the sites I'm on used to have a known issue where it would actually un-watch every so often, so random artists would drop from people's watch lists from time to time. It was bizarre, haha.
