If losing David Bowie wasn't already bad enough, we've just now lost one of the great thespians and stars of screen and stage, Alan Rickman. Certainly one of the most multi-talented actors of our age and one with great vocal presence and personal charisma. We all know the movie roles he became most famous for and I very much enjoy too, but let's also remember his roots and where he began and continued to return to during his long career: narration, live performance, and theatre.
