Hi friends! I'm still having trouble getting back into FA/Weasyl. Not sure why.
In the meantime, I am pretty consistently active on Twitter: @scorgisaur
I think when I get back here I'll combine my suit account back into this one and try out those folders.
Anyway, 2016 furry conventions.
So far I've confirmed tickets and room for Furry Weekend Atlanta and Eurofurence (!!!!!).
Since EF is a pretty big trip I'm not sure how many other cons I'll sneak over to but I'd like to try to make it to some subset of BLFC, AnthroCon, Furpocalypse, and/or Midwest FurFest. Any recommendations for cons that would be easy for someone in North Carolina to attend would be appreciated. I've yet to go to BLFC and it looks awesome but it's the one I'm most unsure about making it to. I'm on the fence about Anthrocon.

Have you been to Megaplex before? If so, may I ask how you liked it? :D
I've gone since 2014 and I love it :D They will have the con at a different hotel this year at Embassy Suites. Last year and year before was at the Mariott if I remember correctly.
The new hotel I've actually been to before back in 2013 for an anime con.
The hotel is big and very nice. Great areas for photoshoots too :D
Though Megaplex is not as big as FWA, AC and MFF, it was easier to meet up with friends and find people and hang out :)

The date for it used to be in September, but they bumped it up to March so that they could share costs (and space) with a sci-fi and fantasy convention at the same time. Registration gets you into both cons, which is also interesting. I'm hoping we get some contingent of locals to go check it out and that it isn't so close to TFF next year, heh.
That date could be better - not long before FWA - but from the Triangle that's only, what, a four hour drive? Went to that convention center back in November for Nekocon. :D
I'm actually starting to scheme about how I could attend this, despite being at TFF the weekend before and only arriving back in town the Thursday before Fursonacon, ha ha. It would be neat to be there for its first year. :)
