I see some popular artists receive like 6 comments on their pictures

Yeah I still occasionally see some artists get a flood of comments, but even some other ones I've noticed don't really get a lot anymore. 6 would be like the minimum a bad picture would receive from them. Now it's like 1 or 0.

I think it's just people.don't feel like starting drama or something...which has been happening alot recently.

That's very true. Drama seems to be getting pretty high these days, especially on this site with all its issues. That's why I've been curious if the commenter types have moved on elsewhere.

More than likely, alot of artists also left to like Inkbunny, Weasly, etc

I can't speak for anyone else, but I grew up, got a blah day job, and don't have as much time for random dicking around on teh internets anymore :)

Eh lot of reasons. Some comment with the hope of a reply, when one does not come they start commenting less. Some make critizism, and since any one making critizism, even legit they are mobbed by the hugboxers. There are some that have stoped because someone else tries to start drama or claim they are starting it. Others just feel they have nothing to add to the comment streem, other than another looks good.




You still see lots of comments on popular characters pages.

I've noticed that too, which I find odd. But think it mostly depends on the art posted.
