It's actually like, white-out snowing here. Really hoping for some accumulation. We got some pretty good snow a few days ago, then it rained and all the snow melted. Now it's snowing again! So we'll see what happens. xD

We live in a valley so we're protected from the worst of the North Easy weather but also high up so protected from flooding. IT IS WINDY THOUGH! I went outside a few days ago and nearly got blown off my feet! >.<

Texas weather is weird, yesterday it was cold and rainy, they day before that sunny and warm and today is cloudy and humid.

Sounds better than when I was there last time.
My sister lives in Texas and they where going through a heatstroke as well when I went there for a visit.
There is no escape for me. xD

Here winter is shitty... no snow! ;( And weather predictions dont say snow for at least a week ;( but at least now is cold, not much but still cold. And the last two days was a bit windy, in particular high on the mountains, there was a bit more cold. :P

From the San Francisco Bay Area.

The "wet" has come.
After five years of drought, we're getting real rain, the sort of slow, driving, fades to a drizzle, but then roars into a torrent sort of rain that soaks everything and fills the dusty cracks with water. It has periods of quiet, but especially when the sun fades and the temperatures drop, you can be sure if the rain isn't going already, it will be. Being outside means that unless you take care, you will get soaked.

It's cold, maybe 10°C, so being out in the weather soaks you then chills you, sucking every last bit of warmth out of you. I'm told exercising in it is refreshing; it hasn't worked yet. There's been occasional frosts, but now the temperature isn't even enough to lock it all into ice. The mountains, thankfully, again have snow on them, and it continues to pile, which will then melt later on into water which will flow into the streams, dams, and reservoirs.

While I'd love to give you the rain, I'm not sure I want to give you my weather. I wish the best for your husband's recovery, and hang in there.
(As a cheetah, I usually like the hot and dry, but yes, there's limits.)
