*Sigh of relief* There.
A *year* ago? Seriously?
Not too long ago I purchased a new sketchbook, and loved the first thing I drew in it. Just because, y'know, it was the first thing of any merit I'd drawn in...well nearly a year. I kept adding to that sketchbook, and while the quality varies, at least my muse seems to like me again. I hope it stays that way!
I'm using a crappy Aiptek Pencam to capture these, but I'm able to alter the contrast sufficiently enough to properly digitize them...someday. I'm debating whether or not to use GIMP or Inkscape. I used to use Paint Shop Pro on Windows, and I'm not so used to the GIMP, but I've gotten rather comfortable with Inkscape. But Inkscape does clean lines, which doesn't let me do my shading and texturing as I like. We'll see. I'm slowly warming up to the GIMP, too.
It also helps that for a long while there I was on dialup way out in the boonies, where it was hard to get *anything* done. Now I'm back in town, and on DSL that might as well be cable. Back in business. ^_^
Now I need to work up the gumption to find the manpage for wacom drivers, so I can edit my xorg.conf again...
