Hello,
Figure I post an update on current happenings and talk about games I've been playing. I'm not sure if I'll get more art done for Tsallik or Rasvinir, since I haven't had any good ideas recently. I'm up for suggestions on that end. I'll be busy this semester, but my school days should be over rather soon with a degree in hand.
Anyways...here's a list of stuff I've been playing and some thoughts about them. All of these are on PC.
Wasteland 2: Oh boy....I've recently tried out the Director's Cut, and I actually liked it for the most part, considering I haven't played any of the old Fallout games. Well...I should say I liked it until I came to a door that wouldn't open unless I restarted the whole game. I shouldn't be running into those problems a few years after the game came out and it made me stop playing the game. Ugh....
Pillars of Eternity: It's been out for awhile, but I only recently got around to playing it. I could give or take the fantasy world, but it is well-written and the CRPG is rather good honestly. I'll have to play more, but it's difficult without being frustrating so far on normal.
XCom Enemy Within: Something I got back into after hearing about XCom 2. I used the Long War mod and Line of Sight mod help with the games problems, but I uninstalled it recently in anticipation of XCom 2. It's a game that has problems, but with the new installment coming out next week, it seemed to address all the issues I had with it previously. (Line of sight problems and overwatch creep). It is very promising, and I hope the new installment doesn't have any game-breaking problems.
Starward Rogue: One that came out recently that I just tried today. If you hate Binding of Issac, this game is a little better than that, but you probably won't like it. Randomly generated, shooter, with items and equipment. It's has more variety in items than Issac, and there is a bullet-hell element to it, but I'm not sure if it will keep my interest.
Underrail: Yea...I kinda thought this was an inconvenient name, considering Undertale. But, it's a game similar to Wasteland 2 as a CRPG. I have to play with the game some more, but I don't like certain things about it so far. The walls of the dungeons tend to block items or enemies, plus it is easy to cripple yourself early due to certain decisions. I'll have to try this one again.
Rainbow Six: Siege: Yes, Ubisoft isn't great, but somehow they made a decent team-based shooter. It still has some problems though. Uplay is the first large obstacle, along with cheaters and connection issues for some. They seem to be trying to iron out the issues, but it can be a bit much for some.
That's all the games. I might post this monthly, since I kinda had an urge to talk about games. Also if you have ideas for art, feel free to poke me about it, since I would like more art of Tsallik, but I don't have any good ideas right now.
