A New Year / Possibly Philadelphia Furcon?

Hello Everybody,
Despite the snowy weather I am hoping everyday is having a happy and healthy start to the new year. With all of 2016 ahead of us there's a lot of great things to come this year for the furry community with all the area conventions and furmeets.
I would like to say that I do apologize for the lack of activity last year as it was a very demanding year for both myself and my cohort
. The lack of our availability led to us being unable to pull together to get a lot of plans off the ground. For this we are very sorry.
That said, it is a new year and we do greatly want to bring more events to the area to give the area some furmeets for all to enjoy. The most important thing for myself and those who are interested in planning and hosting furmeet is knowing what you all would like to do, where you'd like to do it, and when. For that I am reposting a list of idea with some new ones added to start getting some ideas together for the upcoming months:
- Meet up for the new Zooptopia movie coming out in March
- Meet & greet as a local park or venue
- Arcade Meets (such as Dave & Busters of other similar locations)
- The Philly Zoo
- The Camden Aquarium
- Furry Picnic / Cookout at a park
- Minigolf Meetup
- Dinner and a Movie
- Local amusement parks
- Restaurant Meet
- Public Fursuit Outting
- Meet up for a sports game or tailgate party
- Photo / sightseeing trips
- Starting a Philly Furbowl
This list is far from inclusive, so in addition to feedback of the above idea, if YOU have an idea or if there is an attraction you know of that you think others would enjoy, please let us know. The more data we have to work with, the more we can gauge what you;d like to see so we can work on it.

Also, it seems as though our city may very well have it's own furcon coming next year! I stumbled upon a posting from
on Twitter with naming and attendance polls for a Phlly based Furcon in March 2017:

This owuld be most exciting if this event were to come to our city as it would be a lot of fun and would serve to be a great revival for the Philly Fur Scene that this city so greatly needs. Show your support for this event so we can bring the furcon scene back to our great city!
