PS4 GET... And I returned it.
it -really- does not feel worth it, Yes, I got it for about 370$ after tax, with 2 free games, I got Amplitude of the PSN and 3 months playstation PLus..
Then I realise, MOst of the "instant Game Collection" is PS3/PSVita/PS1 Classics so the PS4 -doesn't have them-
I already owned a few PS1 classics, Can't download them onto the PS4 because no support for them yet.
I went to see about downloading one of my PSN Exclusive titles I had, "Hey! You can -RENT THIS TITLE- that you bought on PS3
to play it -for a limited time-" so pay more to play a title I already own on the PSN? No thanks...
....So I have no access to all the various PSN Titles I had bought on the PS3 without -paying more for limited time access-
And PSPlus is a bigger benifit to me on my PS3, -and- Amplitude, the PSN game I got, is getting a crossbuy PS3 copy within a couple months...so thats going to be on PS3 too....
The two games I got were Tokiden Kiwami, a game I already own on PSVita, so I got it for crossplay....but I don't need it.
And Bloodborne.......
...................
I feel like I paid 370$ for BLOODBORNE, otherwise THERE IS NO REASON TO HAVE THIS PS4 >.<
......Really considering returning it, I could use that money for other things and wait until they fix this ton of stupidity that makes this PS4 feel like it's not worth it in the slightest.

Microsoft made a competitive move with their solution by simply making it free. You just pop in an Xbox 360 disc, download the ported version and there you go. Sony didn't go that route but certainly doesn't make the PS4 any less worth owning. It's a slick console but it's not quite time to give up the PS3. ^_-
this is the same with Xbox, Xbox360, and the Xbone they are NOT backwards compatible. Ps2 was the BEST cause it plays DVD, ps2 games AND ps1 games! it was the best system to date.
so long story short, console gaming is VERY VERY expensive to get, own games, and network... for a young kid living at your parents house not paying rent is ideal. but alone in an apartment barely scrapping by its not as good. PC gaming is good as even old games work and EVERYTHING plus your games are yours to own, steam makes it soo good that even a complete pc loss the games you bought is tied to your account.
Mostly I'm just holding out for Persona 5 and FF15, among other things.
I still have my ps3 for other classic titles but I do know they do plan on incorporating some sort of system wide ps2 emulation, hopefully we'll end up hearing about it at E3 in order to compete with Microsoft offering.
I love my ps4 for what it is but it seriously lacks the cost effective way to allow you to play the classic titles you already own through PSN and not having to rent or pay them again through PS4's PS Now or Ps2 for PS4 emulated version . i just wish they offer some sort of discount or a free version for the product i already own on PSN. like if i own Persona 3 on PSN and they made it available for ps4, then they should offer it to free to those already owns the original psn version. or better, knock it down to $1.
oh well.
btw, nintendo actually does this if you owned the wii VC games and the WII U version releases, it knocks it down to just $1 instead of full price as an upgrade fee.
I'm happy with the price I paid for my PS4 ($0). I have a Sony credit card I got years ago and have been accumulating points over the years.. enough to outright buy a PS4 with points alone. >_>
